Female DJ collective Rock the Belle’s Emily Rawson talks to Soho’s legendary bespoke tailor Mark Powell about the relationship between fashion and music. Mark Powell will let you in on Soho’s bonds with fashion and how his clients and trends have ranged from David Bowie to Paul Weller depending on music eras. Having DJ'ed for brands like Chanel and Nike, Emily Rawson and Rock the Belle’s presence in the fashion circle is known; watch her discuss how her DJ group’s style compliments their music and when she used to party to 90s and 00s tune in Soho.  

In Conversation: DJ Target Meets Paterson 



BBC Radio 1 presenter, author and grime scene character DJ Target meets with Paterson, jeweller and founder of The Great Frog. The unlikely duo discuss the different stories, brought together by music, that led to them to Soho. For Paterson, it was having his designs discovered by rock and indie bands in the 60s, and for a young DJ Target it was finding the record shops of the 90s that adorned the streets of Soho. 

In Conversation with Doc Brown and Vincent 


 

A reunion between actor and MC Doc Brown and Vincent Olutayo, owner of the record shop Deal Real, lets you in their illustrious past together in Soho. From exploring the old Deal Real shop, which became a hip-hop hub, to the corners of Soho where Jimi Hendrix played, the two discuss Soho’s prolific relationship with music.
