Soho in a Day

Whether you’re visiting London for the first time, or looking for the perfect staycation destination, here's how to spend a day in Soho.

10AM: LET’S START WITH A LATE BREKKIE...

If you’re in need of a traditional, filling breakfast, head to
The Breakfast Club for pancakes and delicious fry-ups. For
something a little different, Dishoom on Kingly Street serves
unique, Indian-inspired breakfasts like kejriwal (fried eggs
on chilli cheese toast) and their iconic Bacon Naan Roll. For
unbeatable pastries, try Swedish spot Söderberg.

11AM – 12PM: SHOP CARNABY STREET

With over 100 international and British heritage labels and
independent boutiques, Carnaby Street is the destination to
start your shopping haul. Head to the Newburgh Quarter to
Annie’s Ibiza for one-of-a-kind party pieces loved by celebrities
like Rita Ora and Kate Moss, or drop by RIXO for dresses
with original hand-painted prints and timeless silhouettes. If
sneakers are more your thing, OG Kicks on Foubert’s Place or
Footpatrol on Berwick Street are go-to stores.

12PM – 12:30PM: COFFEE BREAK

For a pick-me-up and a break from your shopping spree, enjoy
an artisan coffee at cosy Flat White on Berwick Street or watch
the world go by from one of the window seats at Soho Grind
on Beak Street. Soho Grind has an exclusive custom blend
specifically developed for the Soho branch: the Shoreditch
Grind House Espresso.

in Soho. For delicious Turkish cuisine with alfresco
seating outdoors and countertop seating indoors,
try Zahter. The menu is full of hot and cold mezzes
and sharing platters. If you love bao buns, try BAO for
steamed milk buns and other Taiwanese bites. For
award-winning Latino fried chicken, El Pollote is the

3PM: EXPLORE THE STREETS & HISTORY

Visit the Spirit of Soho mural on Broadwick Street,
which shows many faces from Soho’s rich history,
and the giant, colour-changing bulbs on Ganton
Street (good content for your grid). If you’re
looking to spend a little more time taking in the
history, try Carnaby Echoes, an innovative walking
tour app that brings Carnaby stories, sounds and
performances back to life. Download the free app via
carnabyechoes.com.

restaurants, bars and shops.
