LESTRANGE is a premium menswear brand offering a considered capsule of elevated, everyday essentials. Each piece in its range is designed with comfort, longevity and versatility in mind through sourcing fine fabrics and designing contemporary, timeless silhouettes. The LESTRANGE store on 68 Berwick St. is designed to feel like an apartment. In collaboration with Tabitha Isobel, we’ve designed a space that tells the story of vintage pieces that are celebrated for their timeless design. The store is full of those references. A first-generation iPod. A Braun SK4 record player. A Moccamaster on the counter.

The vintage tech also ties into the street itself. Berwick has always been a music street — the home of the Morning Glory cover and record shops that have been here for forty years. The objects in the room nod to that.

The other thing we wanted was for the space to feel lived in. Things are placed the way they'd be in someone's actual home - the iPod on the coffee table with the headphones tangled next to it, a book left open on the arm of a chair, a coffee cup that hasn't been cleared. The aim is that when someone walks in, it feels like they've walked into a friend's flat where they're trying things on, not a shop where they're being sold to.
