An Alfresco Autumn

Here's where you can dine alfresco-style in Soho this month.

Autumn is here, and we don't have long to make the most of the beautifully crisp, sunny weather for the rest of September. We have put together a list of the must-visit spots in Soho to sit outdoors and eat your yummy food.

Cecconi's is our number 1 spot for a stone-baked Italian pizza topped with the most scrumptious of meals. Our go-to is the spicy salami pizza with tomato, mozzarella and mushrooms. Head to the iconic Old Compton Street for an easy pizza dinner alfresco-style today.

Tapas Brindisa is located in the heart of Soho, right on Broadwick Street. Serving small tapas plates of cold meats, cheeses, and a whole host of warm delights including our favourite ham and cheese croquettes. You can't go wrong with this spot for a light bite and a rosé.

The Breakfast Club on Berwick Street is the place to be for a 'morning glory!' The full monty is our favourite dish; not only is it massive and fills you up for the whole day but it is the perfect warming plate of food for the chilly autumnal weather.

Yauatcha is an Asian fusion restaurant with a hint of DELICIOUS! their swanky terrace on the corner of Berwick Street and Broadwick Street is the perfect location for people watching and munching on some authentic Dim Sum.

You can't go wrong with an evening on Berwick Street, and My Place Soho is always the first stop. Grab some hot small plates such as the croquettes and spicy halloumi fries, (a personal favourite), while you sip on your Lychee Martini taking in the bustling atmosphere Soho has to offer.

Bar Italia is famous for its nightlife, so save this one for the evening slot. Once you've indulged in a warming autumnal meal in Soho, head to old Compton Street for an espresso martini at this iconic hot spot.

Bringing the Athens flavours to Soho, The Real Greek menu features delicious dishes such as cold and hot meze’s inspired by the healthy diet of the Eastern Mediterranean. While you eat your meze on the alfresco terrace, do as the Greeks do, don’t rush, take your time and share food with friends and family. It’s all about the experience.

Lina Stores serves up authentic Italian food made with fresh handmade pasta and amazing wines. They offer their legendary pasta dishes in half portions so you will have room to try them all, because who can ever decide when it comes to pasta?

Ugly Dumpling is known for its traditional crispy fried dumplings and tempura aubergine, but have you tried the cheeseburger dumpling? They are exactly what you need to warm your bellies on a chilly autumn evening.  Head to Newburgh Quarter to find this spot situated right on the corner of Ganton Street and Newburgh Street.

Even when it's not alfresco weather, Soho is always a hot spot for dining at independent restaurants and drinking fine wines. The busy atmosphere and vibrance of the city give it that spark you need after a long day at work!
